CURRENT SERIES
(a) Since November 2006 normal series two line plates have been 320×160 mm, black on reflective white with a western number of up to five digits above U.A.E, a larger series letter and الفجيرة (“Fujairah”). Single line plates are similar, measuring 520×120 mm, with the series letter to the left, U.A.E above الفجيرة in the middle and the number to the right. Only the series letter A has been issued for normal registrations so far although the series letters B and C are available for purchase.

(b) Since November 2006 taxis and vehicles for hire and reward have had similar two-line plates in black on reflective green but without the series letter. |

(c) Since November 2006 export plates have been similar to the two line normal series but coloured reflective white on blue. At the left is تصدير over EXP over U.A.E with the western serial number above الفجيرة (“ Fujairah”) to the right.

(d) Since the 1960s government plates have been semi-circular, white on dark green with an Arabic number in the centre and
الفجيرة حكومة (“Government Fujairah”) around the top. The royal household use plates from the normal series.

(e) Since November 2006 dealer plates have been similar to the
two line normal series but coloured reflective white on red. At the left is تحت over التجربة (“on test”)
over U.A.E with the western number above الفجيرة (“ Fujairah”) to the right.

(f) Since November 2006 motorcycle plates have been similar to the two line normal series but smaller and without a series letter.
